Best Bitter ESB (Extra Special Bitter) is modeled after a traditional English-style pale ale. The pleasing caramel color reflects the delicately selected grain bill. The smooth, soft-bitterness creates an eminently quaffable ale.

IPA (India Pale Ale) has come a long way since the sad days of the British Empire. Boundary Bay’s was one of the first in the Northwest. The big malt backbone, juicy Amarillo hops, and assertive bitterness make this a true ‘classic.

Perhaps more than any beer, this Oatmeal Stout deserves to be called a “meal in a glass.” For many years stouts were considered so nutritious they were often served as a health tonic! Lightly hopped, Oatmeal Stout is aged for one month to allow the medley of dark malts and oats to celebrate their union.

Our Scotch Ale became a Northwest classic with the inaugural brew in 1995. The Long Boil in the Kettle Caramelizes the wort, producing deep-copper tones. Scotch Ale’s signature malt character is crafted for pure enjoyment.

The Whatcom County wilderness is calling, so we must brew. Van Zandt Light is a classic American Lager crafted to celebrate our community's active outdoor lifestyle. A low hop bitterness and a classic lager malt composition make Van Zandt Light crisp and crushable.

From the cosmos, a luminous ray arrives to add a little sunshine to the Northwest. Astro Tang is kettle-soured with our house lactobacillus culture and fermented with tangerine puree from Oregon Fruit Products. A brilliant, light-straw color reflects its conditioning phase and delicately selected specialty malts. Boosted with Madarina Bavaria hops, Astro Tang radiates tropical citrus aromas while extraordinary sweet citrus, tangy and sour flavors orbit the palate. This intergalactic experience is a limited release; so don’t let it fly by without getting an astronautic tangy taste.

ROLLER BETTIES LIMITED RELEASE IPA

Insubordination IPA is a community collaboration between the Bellingham Roller Betties & Boundary Bay Brewing Company. Together, this long-rolling partnership has fostered relationships within the Bellingham community since 2007. This IPA is jammed with four varieties of juicy hops. Insubordination IPA will apex jump your palate with a hop-check of tropical lusciousness.

Race Day IPA is brewed to commemorate the tradition of Ski to Sea, Whatcom County’s original adventure race. COLLABORATION WITH NORTH FORK BREWERY
When North Fork and Boundary Bay brew together it’s likely to get a bit crazy! With the final gravity falling below the density of water (0°P OG), this experimental Belgian-style ale is no exception. Meld in aromas of stonefruit and light cherry, flavors of biscuity and light chocolate maltiness and an extraordinarily dry, brandy-like finish, and you’ve got yourself a taste of madness!

On International Womxn’s Day*, Brewer Jess led a crew of Womxn through a new Galbraith Mountain Series beer: Last Call. This juicy pale ale is bursting with tropical aromas and flows through the palate with a fruity bomb Flavor. Last Call is a moniker for a fast and fun 'last chance' trail at the base of Galbraith Mountain. This juicy pale ale reflects the ride with a low ABV and moderate bitterness for crushability and pure enjoyment when you’re in the zone.

BLI ^PA Flight #320 celebrates our Captain and Owner, Ed Bennett, with a supersonic tropical boost off the tarmac. Fueled by six vivacious hop varieties, this Hazy IPA flies by into a cloudy haze. The BLI^PA series is a departure from our bold, trailblazing Northwest-style IPAs into a maverick-style of tropical bliss. A moderate bitterness and a penchant of pineapple, papaya and citrus flavors land with a soft, dry finish.

Dark Darkness: A Dark Porter

Dark Darkness unites a deep-chestnut color, aromas of cacao and light toffee with chocolatey and subtle roast flavors. This limited release porter celebrates the diversity of Bellingham’s art scene. The porter‘s namesake is an offbeat web-series about four attendees of Dr. Darkness’ darkness convention. Dark Darkness is produced in Bellingham, Washington by Wilson Large, a former Boundary Bay employee. The series is currently in development to become a feature film. Brewed in collaboration with Bellingham’s newest craft brewery, Stemma Brewing Co., for Bellingham Beer Week. Training Wheels Blonde IPA is Stemma’s first ride in a production-level brewhouse. An adaptation of a Stemma homebrew recipe, this Blonde IPA pedals to the palate with a chain of juicy citrus, piney and floral characteristics. Training Wheels struts into springtime with its light malt character, moderate bitterness, dry finish and easy-drinking attitude.

This Dry Cider is produced by Bellingham Cider Company in small batches using Washington apples. Bellingham Cider Company combines modern fermenting equipment with traditional cider making methods to craft additive-free and pure ciders.
