Sustainability Series: Earth Day Fair At The Brewery

Throughout the month of April we’re highlighting how we at Boundary implement sustainable practices in every aspect of the brewery. We’re in the business of consumption, so it’s important to us that we try to offset this as much as possible. Today, we’re diving into our upcoming Earth Day Fair; the inspiration behind the event and who’s going to be there! The Earth Day Fair will be on Earth Day (Saturday, April 22nd) from 12-4 pm!

The inspiration for our Earth Day Fair

There’s never a bad time to host a market, and the people of Bellingham love attending them! Art, jewelry, home goods, clothing, food, fresh produce, whatever each vendor brings, it allows the community to come together, reinvest, and support local!

We wanted to host a sustainable market on Earth Day to promote especially promote the vendors and organizations in our region that work towards making our world a more sustainable place. Whether they use recycled goods to recreate upcycled products or promote regional sustainable farming, we wanted to create a space full of those who cared, to make it easier than ever to show them support!

The Vendors

We were able to gather an amazing group of over 15 local artists, farms, and organizations to attend our Earth Day Fair, and we’re so excited to see their booths! From upcycled art, jewelry, accessories, and plants, to nonprofits and farms, there will be so many sustainably made goods for you to browse, and so much to learn! We get so inspired to see how many people have made it their mission to start a hobby or build a business solely on promoting sustainable practices!
