Boundary Bay Brewery and Longtime Friends Save the Ales Through Distribution

As we announced last November, Boundary Bay Brewing and Bistro will be closing at the end of September. Since then we have been approached by a number of different breweries offering to brew our beer. And you, our beloved customers, have asked if we could find a way to keep Boundary Bay beer in stores and taprooms. After carefully exploring all the options we are excited to announce we have chosen to contract brew with Black Raven Brewing and sell a few of our most popular beers in stores, restaurants, and pubs! What that means for our customers is that you will continue to see and be able to purchase Scotch Ale, Cedar Dust IPA, NW Original IPA and select seasonals.

Independently owned and operated, Black Raven Brewery stands out for their dedication to brewing quality beer since 2009. In 2019, they opened a state of the art 4 vessel 30 BBL brewing facility in Woodinville. Owner Beaux Bowman is a longtime and trusted friend.

Our longtime distribution partners, Walton Beverage Company will continue to service our accounts and distribute Boundary Bay packaged beer and draft.

September 20th will be our last big hurrah at 1107 Railroad Ave, our homebase for the last 30 years. It’s our way of giving thanks to our exceptional community with a block party full of live music, food, and beer and giving Ed Bennet and Janet Lightner a proper send off into their well earned retirement.
