Welcome to the 2nd annual Boundary Bay Wrapped!
Every year Spotify releases data on each listener’s top songs, artists, and genres. Presented with fun graphics and bright colors, many people race to share their stats with their friends.
We decided to use this “year in review” concept to create Boundary Bay Wrapped, giving our community an inside look at the beers we produce!
Our Top Beers
Seeing as brewing beer is what we do, we wanted to highlight our top 5 flagship brews, as well as the top 5 limited/seasonal releases that we made throughout the year. Many will not be surprised to see that Cedar Dust took the prize. Named for a mountain biking trail on Galbraith, Cedar Dust is made with Washington-grown hops and encapsulates the adventurous spirit of the PNW.
Our top limited/seasonal release, Cabin Fever is our classic Winter Warmer that’s deceptively strong and blissfully smooth.
164,300 Gallons of Beer Brewed
With Boundary Bay Wrapped, we wanted to give our community a better idea of how much beer we actually produce. While we serve and sell lots in our taproom, we also distribute our brews to every county in the state of Washington! From January - November 2023 our 6-person brew team brewed 164,300 gallons of beer.
Over 1 million pints of our beer were poured in 350+ locations across the state this year!
Top Counties
As mentioned above, Boundary Bay beer is distributed to almost every county in Washington state. This is made possibly through partnerships with local distribution companies, and by our sales team that self-distributes much of our beer as well. This ensures that Washingtonians can enjoy our beer wherever they are in the state.
It makes sense that our top distributed counties are the 4 closest to us, as we self-distribute our brews throughout them. Whatcom was the top county, followed by King, Skagit, and Snohomish.
