From the beginning, Boundary Bay Brewery has been crafted by Community.

Uniquely positioned as the first, the second, and the third brewery in Bellingham, Washington - we continue to pour ourselves back into Bellingham’s community - pushing to preserve some of the city’s most important organizations and brew some of the PNW’s best craft beers. We believe in preserving the good in our past, and working for the good in our future.

Following their first fundraiser and the subsequent local fundraising opportunities that were presented to them, Ed and Janet began to make some serious philosophical connections. Waste Not, Want Not

From locally-sourced food and beer that’s brewed with water from Bellingham’s own Lake Whatcom watershed, to building our own furniture from reclaimed wood - we work hard to reduce the “shoe size” of our carbon footprint.
