The Beer Garden

In 2002 came a big opportunity.

What was, at that time, a parking lot alongside our historic warehouse on Railroad Avenue, soon became everyone’s favorite backyard - or more commonly known as “Bellingham’s Backyard!”

After years of grass, turf and gravel trials, our outdoor beer garden has finally earned its place as Downtown Bellingham’s largest natural green space. As a Certified Wildlife Habitat, you’ll find hundreds of flower and tree varieties planted over the last 20 years. You’ll even notice a few hop plants wound along the fence as you descend down the stairs into the Beer Garden on a hot summer day!

In addition to six taps, a fully functioning stage, sound system and our famous Fryday Fish Fry grill in the summer weeks, the Beer Garden is also equipped with plenty of seating for everyone. Options range from large community benches for the family, to adirondack chairs tucked into shaded reading corners, to fire pit circles for those chillier, early fall evenings. Doggos and kids welcome, as well as restrooms and wheelchair accessible points available!

At Boundary Bay Brewery, we don’t just support community, we thrive within it. Our Beer Garden shines the light on this as we host hundreds of events each year featuring live music, weddings, fundraisers, holiday celebrations, block parties, birthday parties and so much more. Chances are if you know someone who lives in Bellingham, they’ve been to the Boundary Bay Beer Garden at one point or another!

We’re open to event requests for Summer of 2022 for both non profit and private events.
