Bartenders are professional, high-energy individuals with excellent communication skills who effortlessly serve a variety of beers and wine to our guests. Bartenders greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. As a leader in the front of house you will also be expected to keep the bar area organized and clean for proper customer presentation. You may be in charge of closing duties that include locking up the restaurant, cleaning and stocking the bar, along with ensuring the restaurant is left in a tidy and organized manner.
Bartenders at Boundary Bay are an important face of our organization. To succeed as a Bartender, you should have apt knowledge of how to describe beer, neat appearance along with an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. Previous experience as a Bartender is required, previous brewery experience is preferred. Availability must include nights and weekends, and a 60-day availability agreement will be required upon hiring.
