Line Cook

Line cooks are responsible for cooking and preparing menu items in accordance to standards set by the Kitchen Manager. Line Cooks are high-energy professionals with great communication skills, food industry experience and a broad knowledge of food preparation. Tasks include ensuring food products are properly stocked, finished menus are presented aesthetically, communication with front of house staff, and executing customer orders with precision.  


Prep cook

Prep Cooks are responsible for properly preparing recipes, communicating with kitchen staff, and responding to inventory replenishment. Prep Cooks are efficient professionals with great communication skills and the ability to accomplish tasks in a high-stress environment. This position requires focus, organizational skills, and ability to follow direction.  


Pantry Cook

Pantry cooks are responsible for preparing salads and other fresh dishes in accordance to standards set by the Kitchen Manager. Pantry Cooks are high-energy professionals with great communication skills, food industry experience and a broad knowledge of food preparation. Tasks include ensuring food products are properly stocked, finished menus are presented aesthetically, communication with front of house staff, and executing customer orders with precision.. 

 

BBQ & BANQUET COOKS

Barbeque and banquet are responsible for cooking and preparing menu items in accordance to standards set by the Catering Manager and Catering Chef. Barbeque and banquet cooks are high-energy professionals with great communication skills, food industry experience and a broad knowledge of food preparation. Cooks are responsible for food preparation for both BBQ sales and events, as well as required to have a great sense of timing and self motivation.


SEASONAL HOST

Hosts present a positive first impression of Boundary Bay’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Hosts greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of wait times, monitors wait list, show guests to their tables, bus assigned sections, and aid servers in giving the best customer service possible.
