Alas, from the shadows arrives a beacon to vanquish the doldrums: “Coping with the Dark Porter.” This porter illuminates new ‘Copeland Dark’ proprietary malt from Skagit Valley Malting. Coping with the Dark Porter’s deep, chestnut-brown color, persistent off-white head, along with chocolate and toffee characteristics reflect the new ‘Copeland Dark’ malt exquisitely. Coping with the Dark; it’s a bit easier with a pint.
